2001-2002 Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet

One of the most recent Buffet clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb horn in nickel plate.  S/n 498XXX is far too new for the published lists, but it will be either 2001 or 2002.  It is in excellent condition: grenadilla body with no chips, cracks or repairs and square tenons with no wobble between joints.  Nickel plating about 99% with little if any wear at all.  Just through the shop in March 2025 where it was bore oiled and had all-new, long-lasting Valentino synthetic pads installed.  Plays with a big, open, bold tone with lots of projections, and a soft, even feel to the key work.  Leblanc bore oiling kit is for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a vintage The Woodwind Company Steel Ebonite hard rubber mouthpiece in a K9 facing, a vintage nickel silver France ligature, a nickel mouthpiece cap, an adjustable thumb rest, a new ProTec microfiber cloth, and a new SuperSlick chamois swab.  All in the Buffet deluxe attache case in black leather with gold hardware and just some normal external wear.  An amazing, newer clarinet in excellent condition at more than $2,000 less than new!
