Bulgheroni FB101/3 Advanced Wood Oboe--Overhauled!

One of several intermediate and professional oboes we are offering for sale.  This is a Bulgheroni FB101/3 advanced conservatory oboe.  All grenadilla wooden body, and includes bunches of keys not found on beginner and many intermediate oboes:  the all-important left F, F# key tab, F-resonance key, low Bb and low Bb resonance, articulated C#, several extra trills, and even the third octave key.  The instrument is in excellent condition:  wood has a small crack under the octave key lever which was permanently sealed and pinned—so nicely so that the prior owner didn’t even know it was there, and you wouldn’t either if we hadn’t mentioned it. The upper joint tests a perfect 0.0 on the leak detector, and this affects the oboe in no way at all, other than to save you several hundred dollars.  Silver plate about 99.9% with little if any wear at all.  Best yet, unlike most of the used oboes you might be looking at, this one has just been through the shop where it was completely disassembled, cleaned, polished, lubed, had new tenon corks installed, and was repadded with all new Ferree’s cork pads and double-bladder felt pads for the largest.  Very well adjusted, should play perfectly with a light touch right out of the case if you’re picking it up locally, but may need very minor adjustments if the delivery truck hits too many potholes.  Cork grease and key oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a reed and a new Gem silk swab.  Comes in a slim pochette case with a $100 Jean Cavallaro padded case cover.  A great wooden alternative to the Fox 330 and other plastic models.  Sells new for $3,999-$4,999 depending on location, so save more than $2,000, and snatch up the perfect oboe for your advancing student in the nicest condition you could find!
