One of several intermediate and professional oboes we are offering for sale. This is a Fox Model 400 all-wood, full conservatory oboe. S/n 266XX makes this a relatively new 2008 model, and it appears hardly played at all.  Wood has no chips, cracks, repairs or bore damage, and the silver plate is about 99.9% with little if any wear at all. Includes a bunch of keys not found on lesser or earlier oboes, including the F-resonance key, left F key, split D/D#, banana key, extra trills, articulated C, low Bb and Bb vent, and even the third octave key! Has obviously had a recent overhaul; cork pads are in excellent condition with little wear at all and it needed very little other than the felt pads replaced, bore oiling, and very minor regulation, and two new tenon corks. Comes in the original Fox case with lots of external wear, but also includes a brand-new Kaces LUXE Series case cover giving you weather resistance, padding, lots of external zippered storage, a strap, and a ton of swag!
